The ghd Unplugged is a straightener that you can charge and easily carry with you. To use it, you do not need to connect it, which is why it is called “Unplugged”. I found this to be so amazing because you can style your hair literally on the go. How amazing is that? 

The charging time is just two hours. So, in two hours, you get your straightener completely charged. I found that I could use it around three times during the day, depending on how much I need to style my hair. I usually use it for about 5 minutes each time. With curls, it could take longer, so I’d only get 1-2 uses per day. Usually, the battery will last for around 20 minutes, which is more than enough to create a beautiful look for my hair, straight or curly. 

My verdict

I have very long hair, and honestly, I can not wear my hair all day perfectly straight or styled, mainly because I have to wear it tied up most of the time. I have been using this portable straightener for the past week, and I have to say that it has been a life changer to be able to fix my hair at any time and anywhere. Even in the car, on the train, in the bus, in the coffee shop, options are limitless with the ghd Unplugged hair straightener.

As someone who loves to travel, this product is now one of my “must-have” things to style my hair anywhere. It’s such a fantastic sensation having it.
